TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TEDx is TED's program for independently organized events — it lets communities like ours host a professionally produced, TED-style experience under our own name, in our own city, with our own speakers.
TEDxPICT is our chapter of that program: a self-organized event run by students at Pune Institute of Computer Technology, operating under a license from TED, and held to the same standard of curation and production the TEDx name is known for.
